I've been using Firefox with Adblock for years. I didn't know it was available for Chrome. Gotta go check that out!

I've had firefox for years but didn't know about adblock plus.
I went and downloaded it but it didn't work!!!
What did I do wrong? or what didn't I do?
Any ideas?

Did you enable it? Did you subscribe to a list? Is there a little red stop sign in the upper right corner of your browser?
Don't worry, we'll get it figured out!

I don't know!
There is a red ABP box up there.
I went back and restarted my machine then I think I tried to download again. Still not doing what I think it is supposed to be doing.

If the little red stop sign thing is in the upper right, you got it. If you put your cursor over that little sign, it should say 'status: adblock plus is enabled'. Yes?
Then, just after that 'filter subscription'?

says it was successfully downloaded but still have ads - is there a time lapse before it goes into effect?
