So I was perusing ebay (always a bad idea) and I couldn't help myself...... it was there and the minimum bid was $15, up in one hour............ So I bid, surely this lovely girl deserves a new home, She still works, comes with a bobbin and I know I could find a base for free..... and the shipping to me is only $29. Sigh...... my husband will kill me soon.... I'm getting my treadle from when I was a kid from my grandparents next weekend and still I just couldn't leave her there....... so this is the newest member of my crew: ;-)

Machine class 62, born jan. 8 1910 in elizabeth NJ. Part of a lot of 500

Billy once my husband is done murdering me I'm at least going to need a belt. Hopefully you can get me one or tell me where to get one :?: I'll let you know what else it needs when I go through her.

Cheryl

~laffin~ It's definately an addiction, isn't it? Wait til you see hubby's face when you suggest getting rid of the living room furniture to make room for machines!

As for a belt, you can pick one up on ebay for less than $10, or you can do what I did and pick up a leather bootlace, and make a clip for it out of a paperclip....works like a charm! :)

Charlee my husband has already kicked my sewing room out of the house. We have a 2 story 2 car garage. The excess space beyond the 1st bay is his lawn tools storage / workshop. The excess space beyond the 2nd bay is for horse stuff (hay, tack, etc.) and the ENTIRE 2nd floor is my sewing room, and right now I only own 6 machines *blush*
