I bought an old one today $20...wasn't worth it but bought it anyway......I need to ask some questions to anybody that might have one of these.....Thanks....

Why don't you think it's worth 20 bucks?? I read some good reviews about it.

Now that I've downloaded the mannual and read it,,,I feel better...It really needs a good cleaning too...somebody had taped it up with so much tape all over but it had been taken off but those marks are all over it...i will post a photo of before and after in a few days....it did not have ANY accessories other than presser foot.....

I have recently bought a used Singer Starlet 495. Unfortunately it has no manual with it. I searched the internet and came upon this discussion. Will you please send me a pdf copy of the manual at [email protected] . I will be very much obliged.
