Default Age of bolt of E&W Quadriga Cloth

Hello everyone,
I've registered here with the hopes that you might be able to help me determine the age of this bolt of lovely fabric I picked up today. Apparently, E&W made Quadriga Cloth for some decades. I used to sew and hand-smock dresses for my daughter but I'm not a quilter and I've never heard of this cloth. It is 35" width and there are approximately 25 yards on the bolt. I appreciate your help, thanks!
~Donna

Apparently it is a reproduction fabric that was produced between 1937 up until the 1980's. From the colours I want it say 1960 ish but that is just a guess.

Thanks! And my photos make the colors look a bit brighter that what they really are.

I've never heard of Quadriga cloth, but the print on the fabric looks like either 1950's or 1920's fabric to me. (The fabrics from those two decades often look alot alike to me and I have a hard time distinguishing them.)

To the best of my recollection , I stopped seeing 36/35 inch wide cotton fabric in the mid or early 70's.

I'm finding ads that include "needleized" from the 40s and 50s. And I will say that the bolt definitely has an older feel to it.

This article mentions that Quadriga cloth was introduced in 1940-1941:

This article also mentions E&W Quadriga:

Googling brings up newspaper ads for Quadriga Cloth through at least 1959.

I think that the width of the fabric was last manufactured in the 1970s, but I didn't find a website that explained when manufacturers went to our current width.

What does "needleized" mean?

You might contact Barbara Brackman to see if she'd be kind enough to give you her opinion. She's a quilt historian and hopefully would be able to give you an educated guess.
