Well, barefoot all the time/everywhere used to be my mantra. Then diabetes...eventually doctor finally made me get my calluses trimmed off...(I cried, but did it..it took me over 50 years to develop those shoe leather feet)so now it is shoes..gotta behave...

You sound like my 62 yr old sister.....when the Dr. asked if she does self exams of her breasts, she told him that if she had a lump, it would show! Love that! Marilyn[/quote]

For the lump thing, I said the same thing to my doctor one time; if I found a lump I would harness it. He wasn't amused.

I only put shoes on to go outside. My feet hate shoes and socks. One thrill for me in the wintertime is that I no longer have to wear boots for the snow and ice. We don't get any here in Florida. YEA!!!

I am the same way, but the problem I am having with the no shoes is that the greyhound we adopted about 4 months ago, starts barking every time she hears/sees me put on my shoes - she thinks I am going to take her and her sister for a walk.

Big dogs have big barks
