I was cruising the quilt tour on www.amishcountrylanes.com which is a very bad thing to do. It just gives me ideas for more quilts. The problem is that I can't find sources for some of the patterns. They are mostly the applique quilts. Do folks who are really good at applique create/design their own quilts and patterns?

Since you have the picture, you can transfer it to graph paper in order to create the pattern.

Well just did a sneak peak of that site. Love sites like this. Gives me color ideas for quilts. Sometimes I can start a quilt and realize my color ideas aren't right. Thanks for the link!...I think.

Yikes! I don't want the quilt cops at my door! I could take artistic license and use some of the elements from the ones I like. That is, IF I ever decide I need that level of a challenge!
