I'd appreciate knowing which is your favorite and any name ideas would be more than welcome.
I will be posting the tutorials when they are done. This one wont be available til July 1st.

These quilt blocks are made with my shortcut methods. I came across a new idea for a new shortcut block I call Balkan Block. This is used to make these quilt blocks. I'm having fun exploring this new shortcut block and what it can do. I'll be posting a tutorial on this new shortcut block when it is written. You can check out my other shortcut blocks by using my links in my signature below.

And by the way this is the shortcut block I am using. I call it Balkan Block and if you are familiar with my shortcut methods then you might notice it is similar to my Boston Block.

I like the first one and would name it Spinning Lightning. All are great blocks and your color choices make each version of the block have a lot of movement.

I like the middle one best. "lightning strikes" would be my idea for a name.

Just my thought, it reminds me of a whirligig. Very pretty.

Thanks to everyone for all your comments and suggestions. I have been rolling all the suggestions around in my mind. I like the Lightening Strikes and I thought about Lightening Flash.
It just isn't quite there yet but I think you all have great ideas.

I still have time to play with this name. so we shall see!

#3 is my favorite, too. It looks kind of Celtic to me...Celtic Lightning?

The block reminds me of a whirligig that kids used to blow on to make the blades turn.
