    Default Any ideas?

Does anyone have any ideas of what can be included in the bottom part of this artwork where the coloured sticks are?

How about a length of strips with pointed ends sewn side by side. Sort of a grassy look under the clothesline.

Oh, I like tesspug's idea of grass, couldn't think of any of my own. But I can see how someone crafty with ribbons could also do something cool and 3D. Unfortunately, another non-strength of mine is doing things with trim. But good luck!

I had a friend who was just wonderful with crafts and she had sort of a clothes line art station hung up in her split level entry way. She'd rotate different things with little clothespins, maybe it would be pot holders for awhile, or then it was redwork squares, or fancy vintage aprons.

If you slightly angle the bottom line you would have room for a small stiffened cloth bags you could put clothes pins in. Have a couple spilled out onto the background.

How about a dog, sitting, looking up at the “laundry”. When I was a kid we had a dog that loved to pull the clothes/sheets off the line. Thanks for the memory!
