Smile Any new trends in your stash this year?

Have you gone modern?

Or do you prefer traditional prints?

Are you going back to basics & solids?

Added more batiks?

Have you bought anything "out of character" (for you)?

Tell us what's coming through your door this year! Especially if it's different than what you added last year.

I haven't really gone that way but would love to add some civil war prints to my stash, or some reproduction calico prints.

My stash seems to have larger pieces this year. I found I wasn't buying quite enough of my favorite fabrics. Batiks are new to me so I'm stocking up on them.

I'm working on choosing larger florals.

Been buying various prints in sets that go together for purses/bags, lately. I have been drooling over Stonehenge for months, but also in love with Marblehead by Ro Gregg for Paintbrush Studio-similar to Stonehenge-so I guess those are my favorites-one of these days------

Im stocked on 1930's ( but will always grab more if I see something I LOVE)
I ALWAYS look for neutrals, never can have too many
Batiks are a MUST, mostly bright, bright, sun glassses wearing vibrant colors catch my eye and
Neutral batiks are hard to find and when I do they are super pricey, so they end up staying behind..

Nope, still stuck on my batiks and asian prints, can't help it, I am a creature of habit. I always use similar colors too

I am picking up some of the newer fat quarter collections for smaller projects between quilts. I am trying to use up my stash so I usually stick with more traditional fabrics as needed to fill in. I buy batiks exclusively for raw edge applique (frays less than reg. cotton)

I am really intrigued by some Modern blocks that I see on the Web, but have not tried one yet. I would have to find some solids or nearly solids for those. However, I'm still stuck on black & white! I pick up anything new that I see, especially when I can find a pair of reverse prints.

Batiks still continue to dominate alot of my purchases, with metalics being in second place( only because of a lack of variety) . I continue to be on the hunt for small scale prints with lots of color( at least 8 or more in the registration) . For some reason , that I cannot explain I have been obsessed with the color peach or even shrimp colored. .. , both in batiks and traditional. Confession ... I simply can not resist almost any fabric type in the color teal. As for solids .. I have pretty much sworn off solids and alot of the blenders ... exception Kaufman fusion metalic blenders.
