Default any suggestion??

OK, here is my dilemma, I set up my frame for the LA, and I used the PVC conduits piping instead of the metal conduit pipe. The reason I use PVC was because I could cut the PVC pipe to a smaller length. Since I thought my daughter was moving out and I thought I would get my mother-in-law apt back and use it as my sewing studio so I brought the LA to use it in its full size but now it’s in a small room.
Well long story the table that slide the machine front to back, side to side keep falling off the track. I have sprayed Armor-all and furniture polish to help it slide easier. Anyone has any suggestion on how to keep the machine/carriage from falling off it track it’s a Tin Lizzie 18 ?

I think the PVC piping probably flexes too much to be a good substitute. I would use the metal conduit.
