I was going to run to Joanns to pick up one little thing.
Got there and they had boocoo's (sp)of fabric on sale. red tag 3.00, 4.00 and 5.00. all was 50% off the red tag price. Spent 165.00 and may go back tomorrow.
Really some pretty nice fabric.
Will try to find camera and take pic. later.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll be sure to take my 'plastic' when I go tomorrow!

Yes I found some great fabrics also. I loved the $3 ones we found!

Typical sales for this time of year in fabric shops, since the new stuff, some shown at Market last month, will start arriving in shops after the first of the year. And they have inventory in late December so are trying to cull older stock.

I predict stocker shock in 2011, so it's really wise to stock up now at these sales at your lqs, too.

I just got home from there. I was hoping to pick up some sale notions. I spent some $ but it was PACKED with wall to wall people and stacks of new fabric bolts waiting to be stocked. The place was a zoo at 2:00 PM on a Monday. Go figure..

Were you going for "beaucoup," meaning "a lot?"

It seems like lots of places are having sales to lure people in to buy. News claims that stores are starting the Black Friday sales now instead of waiting till the day after Thanksgiving.
