Default Anyone buy from Fat Quarter Shop

I am just wondering if anyone here has ordered from Fat Quarter Shop. I placed my first order on Feb 10 and the order status still shows processing. I don't expect Amazon turnaround, but this is a long time

I am just wondering if this is normal

I have sent them 2 emails and left a voicemail, but still nothing

Does anyone know are they in a bad weather area?

I order from them all the time and they do have a notice on their page outlining their shipping times, also they are based in Texas which is being severely affected by winter storms. My last order took about 3 weeks from start to shipping and another 2 weeks for shipping from the USPS. I have learned to be patient in these times, I am sure someone will return your email and phone call when things settle down. Its been a trying year on many fronts, they are a very reputable company.

I bet it is because they are slammed by the storm. Most of Texas doesn't have electricity or running water yet. They probably can't get to the store because the roads are frozen over. Mail delivery can't happen until the electricity comes back on. They are normally very reliable and answer their phones when you call.

I’m in Texas and I haven’t had mail service since last Saturday.

Yes, the winter weather/electricity blackouts has things back up from Feb. 9th. Even delivery trucks are having a hard time navigating the icy/snowy roads.

I have bought from Fat Quarter Shop before and was very pleased with their service.

I can add that the few people who are trying to get out can’t find gasoline or groceries, almost all restaurants are closed. UPS is not making pickups and Amazon isn’t delivering. A huge number of businesses and homes are (and will as the temperature finally rises) suffering tremendous damage from burst water lines and plumbers already have weeks-long waits to get to you. Water mains are also starting to rupture now. It will probably be at least Saturday before I can get my car out of the garage and driveway, if it will start.

Your order is probably affected by the weather. They are a great company and I love their daily deals. I know it's hard to be patient. I have 2 packages from CVS that are somewhere out there and eventually I'll get them.

I shop there often. Great service. Kimberly Jolly, the owner, posted on Facebook today that everyone is safe but no one can travel in so the shop is closed.

So sorry to hear this! The news has shown pictures of the disasters in Texas but hearing from someone living through it adds to the immense tragedy of the weather event.

My son works for Fed Ex and they aren't running trucks in most of Mississippi because our roads are iced over. I am glad they aren't making the delivery folks risk their lives. But people waiting for medicine and food from the deliveries are probably hurting badly.
