I love machine embroidery, have bought 5 of the past OeSD Christmas lace CDs. Haven't tried any yet. Seem confusing? Just downloading to a jump drive, and then can't see them on my embroidery machine screen, even changing screen lighting. Any tips on downloading, assembly, what thread is best?

What kind of machine do you have? What format does your machine need and what format is on the disk. They need to be compatible with each other, and you need to make sure that the files are not zipped when loading them on the stick, water soluble stabilizer, there is a nice sift cloth feel one that I like, and I usually use isacord or gunold embroidery thread, but there are other brands that will work as well.

I have the right stabilizer, and I have Isocord thread.
The format is multi, I use PES, I have BabyLock Ellegonte II, and I download patterns all the time. This one seems to not want to cooporate. I do know about unzipped files and how to open and download. Got all those covered, still having trouble. Frustrated as these are not cheep.
Despirately wanting to make them as gifts, hoped this xmas, but not sure anymore..time running short.

I would call contact the company and see what they have to say, do you use other patterns from the same company? I haven't used their designs before. I get all of min from www.emblibrary.com and have never had an issue. I also use the PES format, I have two brother machines. Is it just the one disk or have you tried all of them?

Guess we're both online here...
I've tried two of them, and still trouble.
I LOVE Embroidery Library also, most of mine are from there, love their tutorials and project ideas. Never trouble there or other places I've bought.

do you have any other of their disks to try of other designs, if could be a flaw in the disks or how they write them. I would imagine something on the technical side isn't matching up. some of the newer designs have issues with the older machines and some of the older designs sometimes have issues with the newer machines. and somethings just have issues period. Company is the best bet for answers, sounds like you have enough experience that you can run through most problems on your own.
