I actually made a cathedral square today

Ya'll know how challenged I am at this....I made some kind of square that has 4 squares with a diamond in the middle. My points match the seams perfectly....only the seams don't match so my diamond looks drunk. Staggering down the road drunk. It's ok....I just laugh instead of cry!

My first attempt a the Cathedral Square was perfect! I thought Man this is awesome. So I went on to make others...the more I made the worse they got! Fat points, they leaned over, yep I think mine were drunk as well! But with more practice the more we'll learn. I just made mine earlier last week, so we're still new at it! It gets better!

If you make these new technique blocks all the same size, you can put together a sampler quilt :D
The beauty of this is, little imperfections don't show up in single blocks :wink: when you put them all together. I have a stack of them to go into quilts :D:D:D
