I try to match all the scraps, then I just jump in and do it. I am a matchy-matchy person and that is what I like the best, like the scrappys too.

I think what you have so far is great....just keep going - you can always post a pic to get our opinion if you are really getting stressed. Sometimes you just have to let the quilt decide:).

Your scrappy bits go together real nicely. Keep going. Trust the process.

The pattern looks scrappy to me, if you continue with the yellow boarder or shashing theme you started, think that will keep from feeling as scrappy. The pattern had a light blue shashing theme but not all the same. go for it, looks great so far!!

dont worry about trying to match the colors. You will enjoy it more if you can get to that point. I am making a t-shirt quilt right now for niece. She wanted pink and black (yuk) and her t-shirts are purple, orange, navy, etc. I had to overcome the fact that I wasnt going to match all the t-shirts anyway, before I could buy the pink/black fabric.

I think it's looking great. It's harder doing scrappy when your pieces are large. Just pay attention to value when you assemble the many frames/borders of this design and it will come out looking spectacular.
