    Default Rotary Blade brands

    Olfa, Clover, Omnigrid, Simplicity.... etc.
Do you find one brand more lasting than another?
Which brand holds up better in humid weather?
Would to hear your experience. Thanks

I have had good luck with titanium blades. They do last longer than regular ones for me.

We have had many discussions on the Harbor Freight carpet blades which seem to fit all the cutters (45 mm). If you use the search feature you can see about these and other brands. I am sticking with the Harbor Freight ones. I haven't yet had a bad one, although it won't surprise me, but they are cheap enough to offset that. I see that you are in Panama and probably don't have a Harbor Freight but they do have an online catalog.

I find the Olfa or Martelli blades last the longest for me. I buy Olfas when they go on sale at Hancocks and buy Martellis when the MN quilt show comes to town.

Sometimes I get some really good deals on Olfa blades through e-bay auctions.
