HI all, I was wondering if anyone has seen this skunk fabric in person? I was wondering which way the selvage goes because I would like to make a pillowcase for my son ( he loves loves loves skunks-don't know why LOL) and want the pattern running the right way (lengthwise across the pillowcase) and I'd like to only have to order the right amount I need and not extra (cause I don't know what else I'm going to do with skunk fabric...). So if anyone can help, that would be great!

It is listed on ebay, so you could ask that seller too.

If you do have to buy extra you could always make curtain tie-backs, a laundry bag, a throw pillow, a wall hanging, or even use it in a quilt for him.

Your son should have been at my house several weeks ago. We had two skunks fighting in our backyard in the middle of the night. The entire house smelled like skunk. It woke us right up. Good luck with your project.

We also carry this fabric in our store. The skunks are right-side up, when you're viewing the fabric from selvedge to selvedge.

If the finished pillowcase size is 21" x 32", then you'll need 42" of fabric plus some extra for hems and to allow for any shrinkage. So, I'd say 1.25 yards would do it.

If CA didn't have a ban on pet skunks I would have one. Her name would be Channel. But.....I'm in CA so I have to forego that thought. Hope you find the fabric.
