Default Anyone have the smarter by pfaff c1100pro, babylock serenade, or singer L-500?

I just got a Singer L-500 and I was wondering since it's the same machine as the pfaff c1100pro whether the pfaff clear 1/4 foot would fit the singer l-500? Looking at pictures of the two, everything looks identical but I was just curious if anyone knew for sure.

I don't have an answer but I have the L500 but I'm wondering why a clear 1/4" foot? I just use the foot that came with it--if I want a true 1/4" seam, I place the fabric so that I can barely see color under the foot--scant 1/4" I don't see any--it's worked for me. I also have a generic foot with a fence that works as well.

Here is why I think a plastic scant 1/4" works the best for me. I can see my fabric thru it and if you have trouble sewing straight this is very helpful- Leah Day sells them for about $15 - they also have red line markings on them to help guide you.

The visibility of the fabric through the clear foot is really helpful to me for getting a consistent 1/4" seam. I have the one that Leah Day sells for my other machine, but I'm looking for the one that works with the IDT.

You're right, generic feet don't work with the IDT. Thanks for the explanation. I thought as much but wanted to make sure there wasn't another reason. Be careful, I bought a clear quilting foot (Big Foot) that the website swore it worked with the L500--it doesn't
