Default Anyone know of any good free quilt design programs???

Hi,
I am interested in getting a quilt design/drawing program, and I don't have the $200 to spend that some programs cost. Does anyone know of free or inexpensive programs that can be downloaded?? Thanks in advance!
Nancy

I think there are some very basic design programs. I can't recall the names though. Someone will probably come along with that answer. However, I have EQ5 and it is very comprehensive. There's very little it cannot do that I have wanted it to do. You can buy it used here http://www.amazon.com/Electric-Quilt...1698259&sr=8-7
There's a learning curve, but Rhonda on the board here is currently giving lessons. Here's the first http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutoria...n-t166726.html and here's the second http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutoria...k-t168115.html

The program, Gimp, can also be used. A member of the board made this tutorial: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-141145-1.htm

Take a look at this website, they have all kinds of patterns, and they are free. I don't need a program, when I can look on this block, and have them already made for me.

Electric Quilt also makes Quilt Design Wizard, which is on sale at Amazon for less than $25.
