Default Accuquilt

Has anyone used any of the dies from Accuquilt? If so, how do you put them on a quilt square? Do you have to hand sew them on, fuse them on, or what?
Thanks!

If you are referring to the applique shapes, you would do the same thing as if you cut them out using scissors. Use your favorite applique technique.

Skedaddle House has embroidery to match the designs.

I put a two sided fusible on the fabric before cutting with the die then I can iron the shape on the quilt square. I usually ziz zag around it or use a blanket stitch. There are many youtube videos how to use the die shapes.

I do the same as bellaboo. It is difficult to hand stitch with the fusible on and I find just the fabric messes about sometimes when cutting. With the fusible it cuts far better and is so quick to make something.

The quilt I'm making now I cut flower shapes four layers at a time using a flower die, then I glue basted them to the quilt. I then used fusible interfacing on the back of the quilt top around the shape so the shape would lay flat when machine stitching around it. This way the quilt top lays flat with no puffing of the shapes.

hmm, I wonder why that is. The messed up cutting. More curves than the piecing dies? I have to admit to only using those.
