That is a really lovely star. Thanks for sharing it. This would make a fine beginner PP pattern. I also like it with centers that are not plain.

I used to have her link in my Favorites but it's been changed. She had lovely PP stars for free on her site. and other patterns too. shame.

Here's a slightly more complicated version of the same star, along with the quilt that it makes. It looks great in warm browns, reds, oranges and tans on a cream background.

Ula Lenz's site http://www.lenzula.de/en/ states that her site has changed on Feb 1st, and that her hearts and stars patterns will be posted shortly. Hopefully she will post this Foldstar pattern. She was highlighted in an article in Quilters World magazine Aug 2007 that you can find here: http://www.lenzula.de/en/press.html.
