I am a hand quilter and have mostly used the 80/20 blend battings. I just recently became aware of these Mountain Mist battings, they sound really nice. They aren't very available though, I would have to send for them. Just wondering what you all think. Thanks.

roselady, I've used the Cream Rose - it's one of my favorites. It machine quilted very nicely, and the little hand quilting I've done with it went very well (at least from a batting perspective - I'm just learning hand quilting :-) ) I can get it here locally from Hobby Lobby, and every couple of weeks they put a 40% off 1 item coupon on their website - really brings the price down

I'm not a big fan of the regular Mountain Mist (feels scratchy to me), but the Cream Rose I'll use anytime.

i've used both and i would go with whatever was more convenient and/or cheaper. the 80/20's are very nice, especially after they are washed. the mountain mist cream rose is also a good product.

i think the 80/20's weigh a little more, but they still drape well.
