I'm working on a quilt that is well needed to be worked on I"m making a nine patch with rose fabric. It has been challenging since I have my kids home with me but I have been working on it a little at a time during the day. I can't wait to finish it I know it will be just beautiful. There is another one that I was working on but I sorta missed placed it so I guess when I'm not working on the rose quilt I'll be looking for the other one.

I am in the process of finishing the piecing for a Christmas quilt, a scrap kit I got three years ago or more. I completed all the subunits at a retreat my ASG group had in early October; now I am putting the subunits together into the blocks. I tried something different thsi time - pressing my seams open, just to see how it would work. It didn't! I am having a dreadful time matching up the seams. Guess I learned my lesson on this! I am off work until 5 January, so I am determined to finish the top before I go back. Maybe I'll get it quilted during January!

I'm in. I'm working on New Year's Day Mystery quilt. My brain is very muzzy yet - off to walk the dog, grab caffeine and then get started! Have a great day, everyone!

I need to put my fabric away today that I pulled for my quilt I am currently working on. I made a deal with myself today, no quilting until chores or done so then it is off to vacuum and dust - then I get to quilt.

I am having a tough time today - there is a 20 percent off everything in the store today at my LQS. I really don't need any fabric but I really want to go. . . . what to do

Yes, I'm in. I will continue putting binding on a quilt that I finished quilting yesterday. I really surprised myself, as I always said I would never put a white binding on, but that is what I decided on. I really like the way it will finish this quilt. Then I have a block of the month for my guild, and then I will be deciding on my next quilt.

I am one of those folks who can only do one project at a time...all the way until it is finished....before I start the next. I don't even have a quilt in mind. So, that will be fun...deciding my next. It can also be frustrating. We'll see which it is.

Let me take a picture of where this the binding is on this quilt. Tell me if you think it will look as good as I think it will. (Well, taking the picture was a bit more challenging than I though...and I finally just stuck it back on my design wall. Ignore my quilt inspector. He always has an opinion.)

I am working on a snowman wall hanging for my sister. Top nearly done. Just have the carrot nose and then eyes and mouth. Not sure about quilting. Usually just echo the item.

Well, I'll get to sew, but will be working on some bags for my sister to take to Nicaragua on a mission trip in February. If my sweet DH gets the tree put up, I'll set up my basting table and start basting a couple of lap quilts that are READY!!!! I love using Sharon Schamber's basting method.... Happy Quilting everyone!!
