    Would you ever consider using the EPP technique when using the Apple Core pattern?

    Sure. It would be a bit more time consuming than doing hexagons in terms of prepping, but sewing them together would go just as easily. You could use freezer paper for the stabilizer.

    There is also a Quiltsmart product that I've used and really liked, but YMMV. Not everyone got the hang of it, like it or wanted to pay the price. ;-)
