And I changed my mind again! hahahaha ... it's all done, it's in the wash - pics to come tomorrow.

Thanks again for all the comments and advice!

I look forward to seeing it and it’s your quilt and you are allowed to finish it how you want.

I suggest to let the quilting stand alone and not add the applique. The straight lines on the border are striking. Adding the applique takes away from the dimension that straight lines add to the quilting effect.

Of course, that is not what you were asking. Of course, that's just my point of view.

Best wishes! It's going to be gorgeous!
I agree with Ronda K. I think you lovely work shines through without the additional applique. Opinion only but I wanted to toss in my two cents. Only in my dreams could I do such stunning quilting.

This quilt is sunning as it stands as a white single fabric quilt. The quilt is exquisite! Adding the applique would distract from this well designed and executed quilt.

Your quilt is lovely and your quilting is gorgeous, no need for applique. I actually think that it takes away from the quilt and doesn't blend in well, sort of sticks out like a sore thumb. Great job!

It’s just so beautiful... makes me want to cry! Seriously, something this beautiful just makes me tear up - i just look at it thinking how “in the zone” you obviously were in creating it - one of those almost sacred times in life where you just gotta know that you were doing something that God so gifted you to accomplish!
