Depends on where you live. If you have a lot of humidity in your area, you need to store it in an air tight bag or box or wrap it well in plastic. After a certain amout of time it does get more difficult to use....not that the iron on part doesn't work anymore...it just becomes harder to get the paper off of the iron on part once the heat and humidity get to it. I buy 5 yards at a time, most of the time. I keep it in a plastic box with a snap on top along with some of my other iron on stabilizers.

It is a glue and glues tend to lose grip when they dry out. I can imagine that the product will lose its effectiveness over time.
A little off-topic but still relevant: I use steam-a-seam and generally buy the packages because they are easier to store. However, I have recently noticed that there is a lot of transfer of the sticky stuff between the layers so I end up with sticky stuff everywhere. I can't remember having that problem with the interfacing bought by the yard.

I learned not to stock up on Wonder Under... Over time the fusible will seperate from the paper befpre you go to use it. It a pain to work with on some projects once that happens. Now I only buy a yard or two at a time.

I agree with you. I had purchased a few yards but didn't use it for a year or so. When I tried to use it, the paper was off the fusible and it was a total nightmare to use. Couldn't trace or draw my shapes on the back and have the fusible be cut at the same time. I pitched it and bought new.
