Default Attic window, does yellow look ok??

I love this bird fabric so though I/d try the attic window with it, does the yellow look ok with it? Thank you.

if yellow is ok! then do you have a maybe green to go where the white is, I think the white is not the color for there and it maybe the color that needs changed, I do hope that makes sense

Are all the blocks just like this, or different scenes and colorways?

I would be curious to see you audition other colors in place of the white. Try the pink, or a dark blue, different greens. I absolutely love songbirds, and these goldfinches are glorious.

Can you try a thinner size strip of yellow? On my monitor it takes away for the birds. The brown looks pretty though. You might try the brown thinner if possible too. It seems like the scale is off on the window sashing size.

Love the colors and of course the birds!

I have done a number of attic windows, and I have found the most success to be with the same colours - just different shades - so all browns or all yellows. I made one once with different colours, and when I was done, I really wasn't happy with it.

The whole purpose of the attic windows is to create that 3-d effect, and I personally found it much more "3-d" with all the same colour.

If you google attic windows and look at the images, you'll see success with different colours, but the "dominant" colour seems to be on the bottom. Also, like someone else mentioned, the "yellow" strip is much more narrow when you look at the pictures of attic windows.

Good luck!

The panels are stunning!!!

Thanks ladies, this one is from MSQ, and the yellow strip is only 1" when done. I have the fabric cut and hate to wast it will see when a few more are put together.
