    Default Aurifil thread in Canada

I am wondering where to buy aurifil thread on line in Canada and whether they ever have any sales.

One online source is ByTowne Threads from Stittsville.
She does quite a few shows, so you may be able to connect with her at one of them.
    https://bytownethreads.com/

Beware ..... thread is weighty, so the shipping can be quite rude.
Much better if you can get it in a brick and mortar store or at a show.

As for sales ... have never seen of any for Aurifil, online or IRL.

stitchintheditch.com has some aurifil thread on sale now.

    dinkydoo sells aurifil.

https://www.flarefabrics.ca/Threads_c_33.html. Flare fabric# has free shipping on orders over $200. That’s a lot of thread.

Tristan threads in BC sells Genziana which is similar to aurifil I believe. They used to sell aurifil and switch to the genziana. They have sales.

If you are ok with neutrals Sew Sisters carries some. Every once in a while they have free shipping. I don’t know where you are in Ontario but a few quilt shops in my general vicinity carry Aurifil. However colour selection is often lacking and they must have a high reorder requirement because I often find the inventory is seriously depleted.

Check out The Cotton Mill. They are located in Dundas, Ontario so it might be less expensive to ship to you. Their prices look good in comparison to other stores, also.

I was lucky to find the Tristan site when they were clearing out the Aurifil. Great bargains. I ordered some of the Tre Stelle 100% Egyptian Cotton 50wt thread on the 10,000 yard cones and it's the same as Aurifil, at least I can't tell the difference.

From what I know, The Cotton Mill is certified with Superior Threads, only selling their threads.

Along with selling the threads online, she does a lot of shows and visits guilds across Canada.
Also, provides educational workshops about threads.
