I have the Pfaff Creative Performance. I have had it for a few years. I bought it at about half price just before a new top of the line came out. (I can't remember which one.) I love, love, love mine. It has been very dependable and easy to use. It is my third Pfaff so I was used to the way it "thinks". If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks for the tips. I am looking at a Creative Performance #5 and might bite the bullet. I am using a Viking Sapphire 930 at present, but like the IDT with Pfaff. That and the fact that our Viking Dealer (Erica's) went out of business and it is a long way to the next dealer for service.
