Does anybody know a really good tutorial (even on youtube) that will help me with my first attempt at machine binding?

    TIA

Here's my favorite (has 2 parts):

This is completely machine finished binding. A lot of people hand stitch to finish. If you want to do that, the first part of this demo still works.

I do my machine binding like the Leah Day tutorial, but I use a feather stitch, or a straight topstitch instead of the buttonhole stitch that she shows.
Just play with it. Do some practise pieces, esp with the corners, and you'll be fine.

Agree with tjradj. Practice first. It will save you lots of grief.
