I saw a picture of a quilt on the board recently but can't find now. I've been looking for the pattern for ages, but since hubby is house bound I've been unable to go out to find t. The one on this site was done with some pink. I can't find the pattern and was hoping someone would help me out. It was a log cabin star in a star and I believe it had greens and beiges in it. It was similar to a Carpenter's Star---but not.

Thank you, thank you. I just love this quilt and I have to make a quilt for a new great grand daughter and I can think of nothing more beautiful. I'd buy the pattern in a heart beat.

    Hi SulaBug,

Will be pretty busy until after the holidays and then will try this pattern. I am pretty good at drafting so shouldn't be too bad. I've done others like that when I couldn't find a pattern. Just hoping Dunster does a tutorial for everyone that has seen it. She does beautiful work and the colors hit me like a ton of bricks.

i don't know if dunster used a regular pattern for this one. i think she came up with hers based on commercial patterns she has seen. i believe hers is original.
