I went to Hancock's and got the black and white solids I needed for 2.99 and they had batiks on sale half price. I got a yard of blue I could use for sky and then they had the fat quarter bundles on sale and I got one of those in blues/greens I could use for water and then I picked up a few more I could use for water or sky either. I am now ready to cut these out as they also had a scissor set on sale also. I keep using old scissors and these are lifetime warranty and titanium. I am allergic to nickel and can't handle some scissors too long. I can't even wear gold.
