Joyce, I like the idea of using black, and it would show case the prints nicely. Even a dark purple Kona might be nice. Thank you.

I like a pale green or pink with 1930s quilts. I have one made by my mother and the colors were rather bright instead of pastel. It is bound in kelly green and so is the backing. I wish I could see the fabrics you used in your quilt.

[ATTACH=CONFIG]558902[/ATTACH] Ok, this is what I came up with. New pattern, the blocks will have a stashing of the purple with dots and then another stashing of the purple with dots plus some white squares. I think it will work out. Thanks everyone.
