Remembr things happen for a reason and it was your time for a new machine. Congrats and enjoy your new machine.

Sounds like a win-win situation to me. First hubby really tried to help because he knew you loved to sew and second....You get a new machine. Lucky you for both!

I love it when a plan comes together! LOL even if it isn't planned.

Hopefully I will be able to learn how to do some new things.
Congratulations on your new Christmas Gift. I've had a $79 Sewing Machine for 5 years. It has pieced 6 quilts and is still running. I did buy a new one, just in case. I don't have a husband to dismantle the cheap on so, will just keep pluging it in until it goes to SM heaven.

Great news. Now do you have anything else you can give to DH to "fix". Make it something you've dreamed of owning

Sweet! I think your first project should be something for him - my husband would never have even tried to fix it!

Just goes to show that something good comes from something not so good - sooner or later - in your case sooner. congrats

Congrats, Lisaginger! Now you have to make a decision about what to do with the broken machine. Toss it, or keep it around just in case DH figures out how to fix it...
