That a truly jaw dropping quilt. I would suggest a red border with a black binding. The happy couple is going to be so thrilled to receive that quilt.

My vote for the border is red, or red with a narrow black inner border, but predominately red.

    Or vice-versa.
These were my thoughts exactly. Stunning quilt. You should be very proud of yourself.

Oh! Oh! Your quilt has just made me add this quilt to my TO DO list. I have never been interested in doing this quilt, but yours is so beautiful that now I have to.

Very pretty. I think I'd try a charcoal grey since there's so much red. It will be beautiful either way.

Congratulations on finishing the top! It is a huge accomplishment and you should be proud! If it had been me, I wouldn't have managed beyond two rings---maybe! It is stunning and I know whatever color you choose for the borders will be a hit and frame it lovely.

It is beautiful!! Not all quilts need a border. Bind with red to showcase the red.

beautiful quilt. Either border will look great. Love, love, love that quilt. Maybe someday. I made a double wedding ring once, and I'm not ready to tackle something like that again. Maybe in a year or two.

I have so enjoyed your progress on your quilt - thanks for sharing it with us. And the finish line is in sight!

It is stunning. I like the idea of deep, deep red for the border.

Simply gorgeous.I really like the red and black. I would choose the red for the border. The black might be too abrupt.

Narrower red framing strip, then black border? Gorgeous!

Anyone who can create a masterpiece like your quilt doesn't need advice. I know you will choose correctly on the border. I just want to admire this beautiful quilt.
