    Default prewound bobbins

Does anyone use prewound bobbins for quilting on a Husqvarna Viking Victoria? If so, where do you buy them?

I get them from the sewing machine dealer I bought my machine from. I only use them when I'm embroidering. Too expensive to use otherwise.

I use them for my Elna and my Brother machines for quilting and embroidery...I think they are wonderful and worth the money because they hold so much more thread than you can wind yourself. I get mine at www.metroembroidery.com , and have also bought from ebay.

I have them for my Kenmore but not my Viking. I know they make them but they are different than most so you have to make sure you get the ones made for Viking. It's just like the sidewinder; it doesn't work for Viking because it winds them in a different direction that what Viking does. I've heard there is a sidewinder that will do Viking but don't know the cost. I just wind a ton of bobbins, rather I'm doing quilting or embroidery.
