I did it! Went to a Janome dealer today and they had a used 6600 for $1000. I also bought the table it fits into. Now I have to put the table together and get it all set up. I am so excited! It includes all the free lessons I want and free classes on other things. The only drawback is we won't be home tomorrow  for me to play with it.

I have the same machine and love it! I have had it for 4 years and have had very few problems with it.

The table is all put together, moved things around to make room, put the machine into new table, unpack the accessories....no power cord! Crap, crap, crap.....called the store and they will put it in the mail (we live almost an hour away and can't get there before store closes today and out of town all day tomorrow). So disappointed that I won't get to play around with it today.

Is there anything more exciting than a new sewing machine? No, no, no!
