I love the barn blocks. I plan on making a couple to put on my garage. They won't be real big but I just have had too many things going on to start. I will post when done if not this summer next spring.

Very nice! I believe I read somewhere that every county in the state of Ohio was trying to have at least one barn with a painted quilt pattern on it.

Thank you

I have seen on t.v. that some high schools and churches are painting and hanging these quilts for a donation. They showed some really well done ones in very nice colors.I don't know the donation amounts.Mary

That is really neat. Maybe I should try and get hubby to go along with me putting one up on our barn???

Coming back from vacation, I saw several barn quilts but I didn't have the camera ready to take photos. While in Tenn. I saw a house that had a quilt block by the front door. If I would have had time, I would have knocked on the door. What do you bet there was a quilter that lived there??

we have a barn trail in Wisconsin also. My husband and I took a nice ride one day and looked at all of them, they were great. Wish we could find some new ones
