I have inherited a Bernina 930. It seems to be in good condition, but I do not have the original casing. I own the machine w/cord and foot pedal.

I have never sewn a stitch in my life, and wouldn't even know where to begin if I wanted. It seems to be in good condition, but I haven't a clue how to even tell.

I have researched it a bit and realize this may be a desired piece to someone out there.

Does anyone know how I could go about selling this item?

I was also given a Brother 929.

You could try talking to a local guild or try on E-Bay or Craig's list.
You must be a regular member on here for at least 90 days before you can sell on this site

Try SewItsForSale (a free yahoo group), Craigslist, or eBay. Whatever you do, package it well. No peanuts and newspaper. Use yards and yards of bubblewrap, expandable foam, double boxing. Be aware that the shipping insurance usually won't pay unless it's professionally packed. I do hope that your post isn't intended as an incognito ad to circumvent the rules. That wouldn't be nice.
