    Default Birthing or Pillowcase quilt

When layering the batting, backing and top, if I wanted to spray baste one part of it, which would I spray, the batting facing the the back of the backing? I can't seem to get it in my head. Would doing that hinder the birthing?

As long as you only spray the one side it should be ok. You might want to leave an inch or two unsprayed around the edges to make it easier to straighten out

Yes. The top and backing will be right sides together, with the batting under the backing. You can then spray baste the (wrong side) backing and batting together if you want.
