Hello:
I have been using spray starch when pressing some of my blocks in order to make them more crisp and help prevent any stretching of the cut edges.
I also want to try the starch method for hand applique.
Can anyone tell me whether there is a difference between spray SIZING and spray STARCH and whether one or the other is preferred? A friend thought that starch might attract insects if a quilt was folded and stored and if it still had starch on it.
So . . . . . would like to know which you use and why.
Thank you for any thoughts on this.
Wendy

I have always used the Magic Sizing that I get at Dollar Tree. Now all they sell is the Starch. I don't like how stiff the starch makes the fabric, although I guess that is the point of using it. Bring back the Magic Sizing, please.
