My DD has a chance to buy the "Lily" it is about 10-12 yrs old. Not been used for about 3 years. We don't know what is it worth? Can anyone help with a price. Machine is in excelent condition.

I have the same exact model and number. I bought it about 15 years ago and it has been a real workhorse. I had to take it in to get fixed once, only because I stripped the threads near the foot. So they replaced the part and cleaned her up and she runs like brand new. I originally paid about $1200.00 for her.

I have the Lily 545 and love it! Yes, I also have an embroidery machine but my Lily is the machine I go to all the time for my piecing and applique. I agree with Sandra...it is a real workhorse. I am just guessing here but I think your daughter could probably get one in the 400-600 range. I bought mine used and gave just over 1000 for it several years ago. If I were looking at purchasing another Lily, that is what I would be willing to pay anyway. I will also say that when I upgrade my embroidery machine, it will be the one I trade off...not my Lily. I will be keeping her.

I bought a Lily 545 floor model maybe 17 years ago.....paid $1200. for it and I love it. Before I bought it I had a brother machine from walmart and I also had a white. At the time I worked for Hancock fabric and a customer came in after getting a Pfaff. She said you think you sew pretty good now but when you sew with a great machine you will see the difference so I started shopping around. I was always having trouble with the brother but the white was good, when I got my Lily I kept the white for a long time and recently passed it on to a friend. One day I may upgrade but I think it will probably be another Viking. I would think 400-600 would probably be about right but I could not imagine getting rid of mine.

I absolutely love my lily. It's the best machine I've ever had. Paid 1500 for it about 13 years ago.

I have the Lily 535 that I purchased new about 6 or 7 years ago. I paid $800.00 at the Viking store at JoAnn's. I will never part with her as she is a great machine, and very well made...
