I have a friend that wants a "Thread Catcher" and I have no idea what it is or where to find one. Can anyone help me? Please!!!!

Check out this one! it has a pincushion too. I just made it and it works great. In the rim of the bag I used the plastic strapping that comes on boxes to keep the bag open.

I made a lunch bag from fabric and put rice inside the bottom to weight it. It folds nicely and I can take it with me. Anything goes to catch the threads!

I wish those thread catchers would actually catch the threads. Turns out you have to put them in there. I don't, so they get all over the floor instead.

www.millersdrygoods.com has them. They are the ones with the attached pin cushion.

Ah, but you CAN purchase them! I don't know that you can buy them in stores, because I've never bothered to look in a store for them, but I HAVE seen them at craft shows, bazaars, and quilt shows.

Same with me! Just take the notion if I have allot of threads to sweep up (or sticky tape roll off me), I was very productive with my sewing!!LOL
