I decided to make another beginner quilt. It was a pattern given to me by a secret pal. It takes 14 different fat quarters of seven different materials.

With my budget situation, I was scratching my head this morning, thinking of exactly how much it would cost me. I want to do it all in pink because it is my niece's favorite color, and her grandma died of cancer. I am going to call it "tickled pink".

Now what are my chances of having this happen? I shopped the fabrics sent to me by angels and secret pals, and I have exactly the amount of pink I need. The pattern is also twon-sized which will be great when she lives with me this summer, and goes to college this fall. The Lord provides!!!! :0) I can't stand it because I am SO happy!

Does anyone know if there is pink ribbon fabric? I may use it for the border.

There is. Hancocks, Joanns, Walmart, and most LQS will carry some at some time in the year. Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Oct is almost over you might even find it on sale.

So thrilled for you! I just love it when things work out like that! Reminds me of "Before you call, I will answer"...

Wished I would have known that you needed pink. I have five pink fat quarters that I probably won't use.
Can't wait to see your quilt.
