Have you tried the roll it up method of pillowcases? I find it very easy and makes lovely cases. I want pillowcase to match the seasons and holidays. http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/millio...s/RollItUp.pdf

I made a lot of aprons this last year. I also made fancy throw pillows for less then half what they cost at the dept store. You can make the fabric wrapped bowls, quilted bath mats using terry cloth towels, microwave bowl holders. If it's made from fabric then it can be sewn.

I've been making mesh, zippered bags with a strip of fabric across them. They come in so handy for everything from sewing notions to tea bags to make up, etc. They also make great gift because you can customize the fabric band to coordinate with whatever you're putting in them.

I make dresses for little girls. Downloadable patterns can be found on etsy for a reasonable price. I have several hanging in a lqs as an alternative to just quilting. Don't get me wrong quilting is my first love, but these dresses are fun and one of a kind.

Those bowls made out of clothesline are fun; eyeglass cases; fabric bowls; headbands; doll quilts.....
