It has been one of those 48 hr days! On the 13 at about 10 AM, after I loaded a quilt on to my longarm quilted for about 15 min. EVERYTHING WAS GOING GREAT! then the thread broke! EVERTHING went down hill from there. Rethreded the machine, and discovered the tension was now way off. No mater how tight I turned the tension I still had birdnest underneith! Changed the needle twice, rethreded machine, over an over, an over! Went through all the sugestions for trouble shooting in owners manual several times. This went on untill about 4 PM yesterday. Finally gave up and called Pat a very nice lady who works where I got the machine ( she has helped me several times before) had to leave a message, she was with a customer, then DD called, could I get 3 grand daughters to scoccer practice? Only 2 have to be there but not leaving other one home alone. DD is stuck at work and won't get off untill about 6PM while Im at scoccer field (lost middle GD, she went to another field to watch her friend play, did not tell me so there went my blood pressure) Pat calls my house DH tryes to explaine my problem but cann't ansewer all the Questions, So Pat leaves her cell phone # and tells him to have me call when I get home. Arrived home about 7:30 call Pat no ansewer, left message, by now I am at my wits end, and my nerves are strung so tight I only have one left and every one and everything are on it! I fed DH and went to bed! Left here early this AM , my byweekly trip to see my mon 1-1/2 hr drive one way As I drove out of the drive way home phone rang, DH said he could still see the dust in the drive way. Pat so very apolgic (sp) she carried her phone from room to room last night waiting for my call only to discover this AM some how her phone got set on vibrate! Leaves many apoligies and a message to call her ASAP when I get home! Arrived home about 4 this afternoon called Pat , she has been called away from work on emergence, So Nancy helped me! Told me wrap the thread around the tension twice back off on my tension and try to reset. SHOCK AND AWH!!! IT WORKED! she said she and Pat both wrap the thread twice. so far so good. Have just worked on practice pieces today, in the process of the last 48 hrs I also oiled my machine at least 3 times! Now I have to sew untill the overflow is done clean off excess oil , and maybe then I can get back to my white on white quilt!LOL Hope all is well with Pat! will check in with her and Nancy in a couple of days to give progress report to them. For some reason this White on Whight Quilt has given me fits from the start! Will be glad when it is done!

Glad things are better for you! I can totally sympathize with you. Have to agree, sometimes it is best just to walk away...or in my case run away... :-)

Oh Girlfriend! I have those types of days all the time! Back in July and August I was without my machine for 2 weeks! SO what did I do? Bought another! LOL That way I won't be without one again! Never say never though!
LOL

I just take those days in stride now---make a cup of cappucino or a bowl of ice cream and sit and watch movies the rest of the day!

WOW  What a horrible couple of days. I can feel your stress from here. ;-)

I'm so glad you finally got it figured out though. I hope you show us a picture when it's completed.
