that's great...my magnetic pin catcher draws most onto their heads and I am always getting poked.

I bought it from a Bernina dealer. She had one next to each Bernina model set up for demos.

The pins are sharp, much more then I thought they would be since they are pretty. I think my young grand will be fascinated by this while in my sewing room with me.

*** This one is too small for me.
***
*** I use the magnetic bowls - they do not tip over and stick to the ironing board.

All she had was red. I think red is Bernina trademark color so that's why she had all red.

It is heavy, won't fall off the table without a fight.

Those are such pretty pins. It would be a waste of money for me to buy one since I too have three of the magnetic bowls.

I've given up on magnetic pin holders! I bought one and kept it on my sewing table next to my machine with my little scissors right there. Well, my scissors became magnetic and ever time I picked them up a whole bunch of pins stuck to it. Gave the magnetic bowl and all the pins to a friend who wanted them. Got new pins and have them in a plastic box. No more magnetic anything for me!!

Yep that happened to me before. I demagnetized them. I put the scissors in my Sonic toothbrush charger base while plugged in, took them out and no more magnetic scissors. This will work for small tools.
