Default Best places online to buy fabric?

I'm doing the mystery quilt. I decided to do a constant white and constant black instead of scrappy. Of course, I'm running out of both! Went to my LQS yesterday and they don't have the fabrics anymore. They are relatively new fabric from Andover and Lakehouse Dry Goods so I'm hoping to be able to find them. Any thoughts on the best places to look would be greatly appreciated!

MSQC has many solids in those colors if that's what you need, especially Kona cottons. Prices are right too only $5.95 a yard.

Do you know the manufacturer and/or the name of the line? With either of those you can do a Google search and click on "images" to find the specific fabrics, then click on the photo to find out who is selling it.

fabric.com, hancocks-paducah.com and bugfabric.com would be the online places I would check first.

Thank you so much. I'm off to search for fabric. Please keep your fingers crossed for me. If I can't find the fabric...sigh. I should have gone scrappy like Bonnie suggested!!

Hancocks of Paducah, Thousands of Bolts.com and Fabric.com seem to have the best prices. However I also love the selection at The Fat Quarter Shop the most. There are also some great fabric shops on Etsy you can try, my favorite is The Meandering Thread.

Whenever I'm in the situation you describe, I google the name of the fabric, with as much info as is available on the selvage. This is the way I've discovered most of the excellent on-line stores I'm familiar with.

I've bought mostly from Bearpawquilting.com and connecting threads. BearPaw has a number of children's & animal prints, and they may have the solids you're looking for. Connecting threads probably won't have the solids you want but it is good to consider for future purchases.

Since you know the names of the manufacturers, try quiltshops.com and put those names into their search bar. It would be even better if you know the fabric line name. Quiltshops.com should be able to give you a list of online shops carrying those fabrics.

I found some andover fabric at Elenore burns site once that I need to match a finished top. It was even on sale! I also love the fatquarter shop's selection of fabrics. They have a sale fabrics portion on the site I have bought many nice fabrics from her. Great quality and service!

Fabric.com is another one that sells great fabric inexpensively.
