They had it on Fons & Porter today and said to put down muslin or batting and then cover with the applique sheet and press so that incase the fabric bleeds it doesn't ruin you ironing cover surface. I have never had a problem with it.

Our LQS carries the gallon sizes and also does refills if we bring in our spray bottles which saves a little money. The gallon sells for $40.

Hello mamagrande, what is your formula to make your own spray? Willing to share it? I usually use Best Press, but like everything else, it has increased in price so much..thank you

I use the unscented (clear) and have NEVER had anything happen. I have even used it and then folded my fabric for months on end and still no discoloring.

I have never had a problem and some of mine is several years old. Is your iron dirty? I need to clean the sloeplate of my iron from time to time. Is the Best Press in the bottle discolored? Contact Best Press or return to the store .

We sure would appreciate your recipe mamagrande. $40 is a lot to pay for spray starch no matter how great it is. I have read about using diluted Vodka as spray starch, but haven't gotten up the nerve to go buy it.

I bought mine on Amazon on sale & then used my cash rebates from my Discover card to reduce the price to $20. Because the item was a certain price to start w/ I got free shppng.
