I like the Olaf mats the best. I have gone through many over the years and this seems to last me the longest. Plus I am using them 'all' the time.

I love my Quilters Select mats. In fact I like everything they make. Their rulers are awesome too.

I love my Martelli mat. My blades last longer, it feels nice to cut on, and the yellow colour is really easy to see fabric against.

I've never used a Quilter's Select mat, but I have friends that swear by them.

I have a Martelli mat as well and have had for a couple of years...very little signs of wear and tear considering how much I use it. I love Quilters Select rulers so I might consider their mat if I had to ever replace my Martelli mat.

I'm not as concerned about wear and tear. It's all about the numbers and the lines. I have an Olfa mat on the cutting table and some friskar mats on other tables.

Quilter's Select mats are the best I have used. My first one is years old and still looks like new. I have switched over to QS rulers for basic sizes. The brand is excellent quality.
